Research about “ The Diversity of Soil Macroarthropoda Caused by Liquid Waste of
Palm Oil Plant in Plantation of PTPN III Sei Mangkei Simalungun” was done in June
2010. The sampling point is determined using Purposive Random Sampling, and was
cunducted using Pit Fall Trap, Squares & Hand Sorting. The number of
macroarhtropoda species obtained were 15 species that belong to 9 Order and 11
Families. The highest density of land macroarthropoda was 2596,17 individu/10 m2
which was found in area treated by wastewater while, the lowest density was 2084,91
individu/ 10 m2 wich was found in untreared area. The species of Myrmecina sp
showed the highest frequency of occurrence which was found on 40% of plantation
area which was treated by liquid waste increated humidity, water content, organic
carbon, and minerals availabilities such Mg, K, N, and P.
