dc.description.abstractSkimming off is a pull dross processing that float on molten surface. Dross which producted from skimming then processed in DPE (Dross Processing Equipment). Process done with adding flux (temperature of dross < 800 oC ) and do not with adding flux (temperature of dross ≥ 800 oC ).From result of analysis data is known that dross skimming off do not use flux have aluminum value 18,32% and dross skimming off use flux have aluminium value 18,28%. Adding flux do to increase and defend temperature up to ≥ 800 oC in order to dross is not froze quickly. Thereby, separation process of metal that containing in dross at DPE (Dross Processing Equipment) can do easy.en_US
