dc.description.abstractResearch about “The Diversity Of Macrozoobenthic in Sibiru-biru river flows, Subdistrict of Sibiru-biru and Subdistrict Of Deli Serdang” was Investigated on August 2010. Purposive Random Sampling method was applied to place sampling station and samples were collected from four stations.in each station conducted by 15 times restarting. Samples was taken by using surber net. Samples were identified in laboratory of Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Alam and Lingkungan, Department Of Biology, Faculty Of Mathematic And Natural Sciences Of North Sumatra University. The result showed that there were 36 genera of makrozoobenthic within 2 phylum, 3 class, 11ordo and 29 family. Hydropsyche the highest population density with 195,55 ind /m2 found at station I, and Paraleptophlebia, Hagenius, Symphitopsyche, Heteroplectron, Dineutus, Laccophillus, Rhithrogena, Miathyria, Argia, Corydalus, Atherix, Ranatra, Neureclipsis, Polyrhytis, Naucorinae, Macronychus dan Pisidium has the lowest density population with 0,74 ind / m2. The highest Index of Diversity (H’) was found at station III with 2,196 , and the lowest at IV station with 1,691. Analysis of correlation with Pearson test showed that light penetration showed very lowest, BOD5 and speed of tream showed very strong corelation to diversity of makrozoobenthic.en_US
