dc.description.abstractSterilization is one of the main factors to decide the success in the oil palm preocess. Sterilization is started by containing the fresh fruit bunch that is sent to the sterilizer, pulling by using capstand with is moved by electromotor to enter the sterilizer that accommondated 8 fresh cages per units. In course of sterilizing, always happens the oil loss or often refers as losses. The loss oil can be counted by taking the sample from cndensate boiled water at mentioned, fresh fruit bunch heated with the vapour at temperature about 110 -130oC and pressure 2,8 – 3 kg/cm2 during 90 – 110 minute. The process of sterilizing is done by system sterilization three peaks to be obtained an optimal result.en_US
