dc.description.abstractSpecies of Musci in Gunung Leuser National Park Telagah Village Langkat Regency North Sumatra had been studied using Survey Methods from May to November 2011. There are 50 species of Musci recorded in the study area belonging to 34 genera and 19 families. Dicranaceae is one of the most abundant family found on the study site with eight species, Polytrichaceae five species, Bryaceae, Hypnaceae and Sematophyllaceae with four species, and the other families with either three, two or one species. Musci mostly found in altitude 700-1200 meter above sea level in all type of substrat (stones, trees, log and soils).en_US
