| dc.description.abstract | In pulp process the lignin component and extractive substance should be carry away because it can decrease the brightness in the pulp. The lignin component and extractive substance will be carry away in the bleaching process. One of the chemical substance that have been use in bleaching process is hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). Hydrogen peroxide is chemical substance that safe when we use it because didn’t have negative efffect to the surrounding and if we use in the large amount it will not impact to the cellulose structure.
The equipment used to measure the brightness of pulp in PT Toba Pulp Lestari, Tbk- PORSEA is ELREPHO instument. With the addition of hydrogen peroxide in bleaching process we will get the pulp with brightness standart 89-90 % ISO. | en_US |
