Studi Pengaruh Kadar Hidrogen Sulfida yang terdapat pada Minyak Bumi dalam Proses Pengolahan di PT Pertamina Ep Region Sumatera Field Pangkalan Susu

Abstract

Hydrogen sulfide content in petroleum is important to petroleum process.The crude oil from various source collected in relocation tank that anticipated content hydrogen sulfide. Percentage of hydrogen sulfide that analyzed of each tank was standart, where maximal value of hydrogen sulfide in crude oil is 0,1 %. The crude oil have been good quality of sales n not cause corrosion to relocation tank and equipment of crude oil process, also not cause environtment pollution. Value of hydrogen sulfide on crude oil identificated by doing titration.Because of density of crude oil influenced by some factor not only hydrogen sulfide but like nytrogen, oxygen, and metals like Nikel, Vanadium, Natrium, Iron also water and cloride salts especially magnesium cloride. So,hydrogen sulfide that analyzed on data not compare with density.
