dc.description.abstractThe Effect of Mulberry (Morus sp.) Leave that Contain Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) on the Efficiency of Feed Consumption and Respiration Rate of Silkworm Bombyx mori L. (Lepidoptera: Bombicidae)” has been carried out in the Laboratory of Genetics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Sumatra Utara, Medan. This study used Complete Random Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications each replication consisted of 10 silkworm. The treatmants that vitamin B1 concentration of mg/100ml 0,0; 0,1; 0,2; 0,3; 0,4. The rate of consumption relative increased to the concentration of 0,4mg/100ml, and respiration rate concentration 0,4mg/100ml (p<0.05). But, not increase the relative growth rate, efficiency of convertion of digested food, efficiency of convertion of ingested food and approximate digestibility.en_US
