dc.description.abstract | Research on, “The Growth Rate of Brachionus plicatilis O. F. Muller Population With
The Addition Some Variation of Scott’s Emulsion Dose In Combination of Broiler
Feses, Urea and TSP”, has been conducted in May until June 2013, carried out at
Animal Systematic Laboratory in Biology Department, Mathematics and Natural
Science Faculty, North Sumatera University. The research used an experiment method
and complete random device analyse, with 4 treatment medium, those are M0
(combination of broiler feses, urea and TSP medium without an addition of fish oil
Scott’s Emulsion) (control), M1 (combination of broiler feses, urea and TSP medium +
Scott’s Emulsion 0,1 ml/2 l), M2 (combination of broiler feses, urea and TSP medium +
Scott’s Emulsion 0,2 ml/2 l) and M3 (combination of broiler feses, urea and TSP
medium + Scott’s Emulsion 0,3 ml/2 l), with 6 replications and 5 times period of
observation.
And the highest population growth rate is obtained
at the first time of observation (2nd day) in M3 medium at 2,536 ind. x 2 x 10-3 x day-1,
and followed by M1 medium at 2,489 ind. x 2 x 10-3 x day-1, then M2 medium at 2,447
ind. x 2 x 10-3 x day-1, and have the lowest growth in M0 medium at 2,383 ind. x 2 x 10-
3 x day-1. | en_US |
