dc.description.abstract | Many traditional use of medicinal plants to treat different sort of disease, including
fertility has done. This research observed the influence of papaya seed (Carica papaya
L.) extract and Testosterone Undekanoat (TU) combination in testicle histology of
mice (Mus musculus L.) which designed in complete random design (RAL) that divide
to 5 control groups and 5 treatment groups. The papaya seed extract (30mg/day) gived
orally from 0 week until 24 weeks. The time interval for intramuscular injection was
by 6 weeks. This research resulted the suppression of testiscle weight significantly
(p<0,05) in 24 weeks and volume reduction in 18 for 24 weeks significantly during
research . The combination of seed extract of papaya (Carica papaya L.) and
hormonal contraception, Testosterone Undekanoat (TU) in mice caused reduction of
diameter and germinal layer wide significantly in 24 weeks. | en_US |
