Pengaruh Pemberian Beberapa Variasi Pupuk TSP pada Komposisi Media Kotoran Ayam dengan Pupuk Urea terhadap Laju Pertumbuhan Populasi Rotifera (Brochionus plicatilis)

Abstract

A study of The Effect of TSP Fertilizers Variation with Mixing Medium of Chiken Manure and Urea Fertilizers with Growth Rate of Rotifera Brachionus plicatilis has been conducted from April until Mei 2007. The research was carried out at Animal Ecology Laboratorium at Biology Department, Mathematic and Natural Science Faculty, North Sumatera University. The research used Factorial Complete Randomized Design with 4 treatments medium and 6 replications. The sample was counted three times at each replications treatment medium. The result indicated that the best growth of B. plicatilis population was found in M2 medium with number 0,718 ind. x 10-3 x day-1. Followed by M0 (control) medium with 0,628 ind. x 10-3 x day-1 and then M3 medium with 0,618 ind. x 10-3 x day-1. But the worst growth rate was found ind M1 medium with number 0,598 ind. x 10-3 x day-1 Base on statiscal analysis result showed that culture medium was highly significant (P > 0,05) to average of growth rate between each treatment medium.
