Pengaruh Ekstrak-Metanol Daun Sirsak (Annona muricata Linn) terhadap Daya Tetas Telur, Mortalitas dan Perkembangan Larva Aedes aegypti Linn.
Abstract
The experiments about effects of methanol-extract of soursop leaf (Annona
muricata Linn.) on the egg hatching ability, mortality and development of Aedes
aegypti larvae has be done in Animal Physiology Laboratory of USU in February
2007 until August 2007. The experiments used Factorial Complete Random
Method. The experiment comprise 2 test, that is the egg hatching ability test, and
the larvae mortality test. The concentrations that was used for the both test are
control, 0.02 %, 0.04 %, 0.06 %, 0.08 %, 0.1 %, and 0.12 %. The time for egg
hatching ability was 24, 48 and 72 hours, and 24 hours for larvae mortality test.
The result shows that the effects of methanol-extract of soursop leaf can inhibit
the egg hatching ability and larvae development into pupae and adult until 100 %.
The larvae mortality test shows that higher concentrations cause higher mortality
of larvae with an inhibition of up to 98.75 % at the concentration of 0.12 % and
inhibits larvae development to pupae and adult. Based on regression equation was
known that LC 50 value for 24 hour is 0.0652 %.
