Kultur Kotiledon Jeruk Keprok (Citrus nobilis Lour.) pada Media MS yang Diperkaya dengan Kinetin

Abstract

The research on “Cotyledon Culture of Keprok Orange (Citrus nobilis Lour.) on MS media modified with Kinetin” has been studied at the Tissue Culture Laboratory. The aim of the research was to obtain the best concentration of Kinetin on the growth of cotyledon culture. The design of the experiment was completely randomized design (CRD), non-factorial with 5 levels Kinetin as treatments (0-4ppm). The results showed that the treatment K4 showed the best results to the weight of plantlets. The height and root length planlet are best in the 3rd week of culture in K0 (without Kinetin). Meanwhile on the 3rd week of treatment K4 showed the best results an the number of leaves and number of roots.
