The research of ”The Effect Atonic and BAP (benzil amino purin) Combination in ½ MS Media on The Growth of The Leaf Primordial Tissue Culture of Andaliman (Zanthoxylum acanthopodium DC.)” has been done in Plant Tissue Culture Laboratory, University of Sumatera Utara from April 2011 to August 2011. The aim of the research was to obtain the effect of atonic and BAP combination on the growth of the leaf primordial culture of Andaliman (Zanthoxylum acanthopodium DC.) using Complete Randomized Design, two factors which are 4 levels of atonic concentrations: 0.0; 1.0; 2.0; 3.0 ml/l and 4 concentrations of BAP: 0.0; 1.0; 2.0; 3.0 mg/l. The statistical analysis indicated that the interaction of Atonic and BAP give have no significant effect on the percentage of callus fresh weight. The best treatment of callus fresh weight found in media atonic 1ml/l and BAP 0 mg/l. The highest growth of culture to form callus the found on 5th week is 31,33%. Percentage of the culture to form callus is 86,5% and to produced white callus 16,87%, yellow 44,58% and brown 38,55%.en_US
