    Abstract
Viability study of Bacillus sp. BK17 in various carriers has been conducted. The isolate was kept in talc, tapioca, maizena powder, and chitosan for one month at room temperature and at 4ºC. The viability of isolate was evaluated separately every week by total plate count method in media plate count agar. The result showed that viability of Bacillus sp. BK17 talc was best followed with maizena powder, tapioca and the lowest viability of isolate was found in chitosan. The value viability of Bacillus sp. BK17 in talc 82,85% in room temperature and 108% at 4ºC.
