dc.description.abstractWater is a very important chemistry compound for oil palm factory, PTPN III Sei Mangkei Perdagangan, in running a manufacture process and the function can not be replaced by another compound. Alkality analysis with acid – bases method by using H2SO4 lateness and 0,02 N as standard lateness, to know the standar of water source. Silica is unfused in the water or is quartz mineral. On industrial water using, silica can make any problem in the pipe. If there are any concentration of silica in high boiler water if can make encrustation on the wall of boiler and settle on the corner of turbine then can make some disturbing on rotation of turbin that can decrease the produced energy eficiency. Lovibond comperator is equipment which is produced be measure silica concentration.en_US
