dc.description.abstract | Effect of temperature on growth rate differences tambra (Tor tambra) has
been performed. Tambra (Tor tambra) is one of the fish that have high economic
value because of the taste of the meat is tasty and savory. The purpose of this
study was to determine the optimal temperature for growth, length and weight
relationship of tambra (Tor tambra) at each different temperature. This study
used an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD)
consisting of 4 treatments and 10 replications, treatment A (temperature 23°C), B
(temperature 25°C), C (temperature 27°C) and D (temperature 29°C). Results
showed that growth at 23°C temperatures better than other temperature
treatments. This is because water quality, environmental conditions and feed
quality a major impact on the survival of fish. Analysis of a length-weight
relationship and condition factor of fish is intended to determine the level of
functional correlation between the length of the weight and growth pattern. The
analysis showed a correlation between the length of the weight on each
observation is very significant (p > 0,05). Growth of tambra in general
negative allometric , in other words gain weight more slowly than its length. | en_US |
