There are several factors that influence the poor condition of seeds and the loss percentage of palm oil contained in the pulp press. The poor condition of seeds and loss percentage of palm oil greatly influence the production quality of the kernel (PKO) and crude palm oil (CPO). The main factor in the pressing process is influenced by the type of screw press, pressure and water diluent. Percentage loss of palm oil contained in the pulp is 3.2% - 3.00% where the value is taken from the percentage dry oil without water content. The rate of broken seeds and loss percentage of palm oil from the pulp mill press is satisfied the mill standard 4.0% - 4.6%.en_US
