dc.description.abstractSelection of the filler is the third stage in the production of finished products associated with synthetic rubber, especially the flexible joint. Variation of the addition of CaCO3 aims to determine the extent to which the quality of a product of force and flexibility. Wherein, if the variation of CaCO3 addition of too much or not this will affect the physical properties of flexible joint, if too much of the value of hardness produced will be higher, so that the resulting flexible joint is not very elastic and will lead to become brittle and easily torn, and if the variation is too low then CaCO3 hardness values (hardness) produced will also be low so that the flexible joint produced is not too hard and too elastic.en_US
