dc.description.abstractOne of the factors effecting the quality of cast iron is the value Equivalen Carbon(CE). The value Equivalen Carbon (CE) is the parameter of the amount of carbon who be able deep cast iron to resistance rodding processing between rod and baked anode. The value Equivalen Carbon (CE) obtained must be 4,7 – 4,9, because if the value Equivalen Carbon (CE) is below 4,7 – 4,9, the cast iron would easier crack until cause baked anode at anode rod will detached and the use of cast iron is not optimum. For the observation obtained the value Equivalen Carbon (CE) of Cast Iron are 3,52 and 4,73. This is show that the value Equivalen Carbon (CE) produced still the supply standardized have the certained are 4,7 – 4,9.en_US
