dc.description.abstractWater is useful if the water complies with the standard quality of water which have been specified. Other existence of elements in water mean the elements should not exceed the sill houndary, such as Cl and SO4 element in water needed to requirement of that element because good for to increase grade mineral water. But if Cl and SO4 consentration in water exceed the sill boundary, it will generate the negative effect, disturbance digesty. Therefore the water treatment is needed to produce cleanless water which have the water quality standart which the specified Healthy Minister of Indonesian Republic. Grade volume of chloride to input water is 0,244 mg/l and output water 1,223 mg/l, 1,468 mg/l and 1,467 mg/l. While grade of sulphate will take to input water is 7,53 mg/l and output water is 2,77 mg/l, 3,47 mg/l and 5,78 mg/l. . Based on inspection result is getting condusion that Cl- and SO4 concentration at clean water which produced by PDAM Tirtasari Binjai have been complied with the clean water standard according to Healthy Minister of Indonesian Republic No.907/MENKES/SK/VII/2002.en_US
