Sludge derived from the buffer tank still contains 5-10% oil. It flows into Mud or Sludge Separator Decanter which aims to separate oil from water, mud and dirt. The principle of separation of Decanter or Sludge Separator is a centrifugal force generated by rotation Bowl. As a result of centrifugal force and density differences, mud, water and dirt will be thrown even further into the wall and come out as a boring bowl of water, while oil in the bowl and poured into Reclaimed Oil Tank. Drab water out there is still losing oil or often called a loss of about 2%. To minimize this, it is in the process of separation of mud at Mud Separator Decanter or performed with the addition of water at a temperature of 90-95 ° C. Addition of water was done by varying the opening of the tap water so visible affect on the amount of water loss and its influence on the performance of sludge separator itself.en_US
