dc.description.abstractThe loss of oil palm on seed that have been pressed can increase the rate of costs of a Palm Oil Mill, and affecting the quality standards that have been established by a factory, based upon that we do experiments and analysis of the percentage loss in seed oil palm in Palm Oil Mill PTPN II. The method we used is to extract the seeds with nhexane as a solvent with soxhletation technique and its function is to take the oil contained in the seed of palm oil. Percentage loss found in the seed that have been press is 0.5725 to 0.6075%, where the results of conformity with standard factory is ≤ 0.6%.en_US
