dc.description.abstractAnalysis of protein content in palm kernel meal of PTPN IV Belawan in Palm Research Center Medan with Kjeldahl method’s has been done. Technical treatment with three stages: destruction stage, distillation, and titration. At the destruction stage, the palm kernel meal was added with H2SO4(p) and Selenium catalyst (Se). Result of destruction was diluted in the measuring flask 100 mL. 20mL dilute solution distillation with NaOH 15 %. Destilat in the NH3 (l) form, included to erlenmeyer contained acid borax (H3BO3) 3 %, and then titration with HCl 0,01 N. Protein content in palm kernel meal obtained generally around 11,04 – 12, 82 %. Universitasen_US
