Penentuan Kadar Air Crude Palm Oil (Cpo) pada Alat Vacum Dryer di Stasiun Klarifkasi Pabrik Pengolahan Kelapa Sawit

Abstract

The quality of cruide palm oil (CPO) depend on the water contents in oil. The water contents is a factor can influence the quality of CPO .The reducing of water contents in crude palm oil is processed in vacuum dryer unit at clarification station. The observation was carried out in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (persero) Aek Nabara Selatan, Labuhan Batu. The water contents was measured using evaporation method. The result of analysis obtained that the average water contents is 0,10%. The average measured still fiil standard quality export according to Standart National Indonesia (0,15%).
