dc.description.abstractThe influent of large opened wind on light tenera dust separator (ltds) i and ii to losses kernel at kernel station in pt. eastern sumatra indonesia kab.simalungun have method separation of shell from kernel trought wind inhaling is treated by weight and fract difference. light fract is separated faster than weight fract. Efficiency of kernel separation trough wind inhaling can be figured out from lost value of kernel founded in impurities, shell. The result in Light Tenera Dust Separator (LTDS) I with large opened wind 65o has losses kernel 2,191% and in Light Tenera Dust Separator (LTDS) II with large opened wind 30o losses kernel 0,694%. So the result can filling standard in palm oil mill, it is < 2,5% in Light Tenera Dust Separator (LTDS) I and < 1% in Light Tenera Dust Separator (LTDS) II.en_US
