dc.description.abstractAluminium produced by electrolysis of alumina with the principle of Hall-Haroult electrolysis. At the proces of alumina, alumina have emission to produce gas HF. HF gas discharge from the reduction furnance in aluminium smelter is inhaled towards the gas cleaning system (GC). Gas issued will be analyzed using two methods: Potentiometric method and HF analizer method, Where analysis result obtained potentiometric method of gas HF concentration is: 0,338 ppm, and the HF analyzer mothods using HF concentration obtained by: 0,322 ppm. This proves that the level of HF gas in the gas cleaning sistem (GC) is still on the verge of the limits of the level that have ben set by the goverment.en_US
