dc.description.abstractHas conducted experiments analysis mercaptan sulfur in gasoline 88 with Doctor Test methods Test IP-30 and ASTM-D-3227 at PT.PERTAMINA REFINERY UNIT II DUMAI.Whereby the Doctor Test Test IP - 30 conducted qualitative by addition of a solution Na₂PbO₂ and free sulfur. In the method of ASTM-D-3227 done in quantitative with the potentiometric titration using a standard solution of AgNO₃ 0,010 N. So in the get negative results on samples of petrol 88 by the method of Test Doctor Test IP - 30, while the method of ASTM-D- 3227 is obtained on gasoline 88 T-12, T-13, T-28, T-29, respectively - were is 0.0016 wt, wt 0.0009, 0.0008 and 0.0010 wt wt. It concluded that the existing sulfur levels in gasoline 88 has met the standards set Jendral Director of Oil and Gas.en_US
