dc.description.abstract | The analysis of stomach content of haspora fish (Osteochillus waandersii) has been studied from April until June 2013. The purpose of study is to determine the type of natural food of haspora fish in Batang Toru rivers. The research method used is Purposive Random Sampling and specimen was collected from three different stations. Based on analysis of food habit it is known that haspora fish has a negative allometric growth pattern. Haspora fish consumes five types of food that are Bacillariophyceae, Chlorophyceae, Cyanophyceae, Xantophyceae and Ciliata. The main food of haspora fish is Melosira that is from Bacillariophyceae (Ii > 40). Complementary food is Cyclotella, Fragillaria, Navicula from class Bacillariophyceae (4 < Ii < 40) and additional food from class Chlorophyceae,Cyanophyceae, Xantophyceae and Ciliata (Ii < 4). | en_US |
