This research had done in the Laboratory of Animal Physiology, Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Sumatera utara and the Laboratory of Biochemistry, Veteriner Public Hall, Medan, North Sumatera, with the aimed to determine the noise-induced changes in the immune response. The experiment used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) which consisted of 4 groups: control (P0), the noise of 25-50 dB (P1), the noise of 55-80 dB (P2), and the noise of 85-110 dB (P3). Result that there was a decline and a significant difference in the average number of leukocytes (P<0.05). There were significant differences in the percentage of lymphocytes (P<0.05), neutrophils (P<0.05) and eosinophils (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in the percentage of monocytes (P>0.05) and basophils (P>0.05). Weight loss occurs at P3. It is concluded that noise could decrease the number of leukocytes and lymphocytes counts and can significantly increase neutrophil counts, whereas counts of monocytes, eosinophils and basophils no change.en_US
