dc.description.abstractThis research has been conducted in Laboratory of Animal Structure, Biology USU using a completely randomized design consisting of a control blank which untreated, solvent controls were given 1% CMC and the treatment that given n hexane extract of andaliman fruit with a concentration of 2%, 4% and 6% from 0 day to 10th day of gestation. Each treatment consisted of six pregnant mice. Solvent and the extract administered orally as much as 0.01 ml / g mice weight for 10 days. The results show that there is no difference to spleen weight and giant cell diameter contained on histological spleen (p> 0.05), but there are significant differences (p <0.05) for color and giant cell number in spleen where the higher concentrations are given (extract concentration of 6%), the spleen increasingly dark red and the greater number of giant cells were found.en_US
