Jenis dan Tingkat Infeksi Cacing Endoparasit pada Feses Sapi di Rumah Potong Hewan (RPH) Medan dan Kecamatan Andam Dewi Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah

Abstract

Research the type and level of endoparasitic helminth infections carried out by using the method of purposive random sampling feces in the field, and sedimentation method, for the determination of the number and type of laboratory. Of 150 observations obtained seven kinds of cow feces endoparasitic helminths, five types in Medan RPH is Bunostomum sp., Chabertia sp., Cooperia sp., Haemonchus sp., and Paramphistomum sp., five types in RPH Andam Dewi is Cooperia sp., Dicrocoelium sp., Fasciola sp., Haemonchus sp., and Paramphistomum sp., Endoparasitic helminth infection rate in field RPH categorized as mild, the number of parasite eggs 1-127 grains with the highest percentage of Haemonchus sp. 5.12%, Chabertia sp. 0.68%, Bunostomum sp. 0.4%, Cooperia sp. 0.16%, the lowest and Paramphistomum sp. 0.04%, while the rate of endoparasitic helminth infections in RPH Andam Dewi classified as severe, the number of parasite eggs 2-5020 grains with the highest percentage of 100% Paramphistomum sp., Dicrocoelium sp., 0.48%, Fasciola sp., 0.28% , Haemonchus sp. 0.2%, and the lowest type of Cooperia sp. 0.08%.
