dc.description.abstract | This study has been conducted at Asahan river, Puloraja Village on during April 2016. Purpossive sampling method was used to Determine four stations of the research based on community activities at the river. The research found ten genera of fishes, classified into three orders (Cypriniformes, Osteoglossiformes, Perciformes) and five families (Cyprinidae, Belontidae, Channidae, Notopteridae, Osphronemidae). The highest density was found at 1 st station with the value of 0.348 ind /m 2 and the lowest was found at 3 rd station with the value of 0.2 ind /m 2 . Diversity index from all stations were low which ranges from 1.37 to 1.76. Pearson correlation analysis indicated that only stream velocity value are strongly correlated with the diversity of fishes in Asahan river. | en_US |
