Abstract

The sterilizing process is the first step in the processing palm oil and determine quality of palm oil. In course of sterilizing, always happened the oil loss or often reffered as losses followed in condensate water and empty bunch. Value oil condensate water is about 0,82 - 0,95 % and value in empty bunch is about 1,68 - 1,72 %. In the sterilizing process, time and pressure of sterilizing can be influence value oil on condensate water and empty bunch. The sterilizing and pressure long time can be value oil on condensate water and empty bunch high, while the sterilizing and pressure short time can difficult in shellding process.
