Abstract

At drying unit in PT. Bridgestone Sumatra Rubber Estate, crumb rubber will be dried by 2 steps. That the first step, crumb rubber is dried at 1350C during 13 minutes with ovening system to decrease the water in that crumb rubber. While at the second step crumb rubber is redried for decrease the water in that crumb rubber with 1280C, that the drying process crumb rubber in direct on line, but the material is dried with using the fire by fan. The fan also have function refrigerator after the drying done.
