dc.description.abstractInfluence the effectiveness of the coagulant Poly Alumunium Chloride and Alum to the turbidity and ferrous metals has been done in the raw water. Tests were conducted through several stages with a jar tes method that is the process of coagulation, flocculation and sedimentation, and spectrophotometers. The test results showed that the coagulant PAC more effective in reducing turbidity and levels of iron in the raw water PDAM Tirtanadi Hamparan Perak compared coagulant alum, where turbidity upon addition of PAC is at a dose of 19 ppm was 0,81 NTU and at a dose of 21 ppm is 0,57 NTU this result qualifies. While the levels of ferrous metals are obtained at a dose of 19 ppm is 0,05 mg/L and a dose of 21 ppm is 0,01 mg/L these results also qualify.en_US
