Kadar Klorofil dan Kerapatan Stomata Mahoni (Swietenia macrophylla King) pada Beberapa Lokasi di Kota Medan

Abstract

The research about Chlorophyll Content and Stomata Density Of Mahoni (Swietenia macrophylla King) at Some Location In Medan was conducted since August 2015 until February 2016. The objective of this research was to observe chlorophyll content and stomata density of Mahoni (Swietenia macrophylla, King) and the relation with Activities of motor vehicles and the lead content at some location in Medan. The result showed chlorophyll content from the highest to the lowest at Kawasan Industri Medan 1 (23,41 mg/L), Jl HM Yamin(19,95 mg/L), Bumi Perkemahan Sibolangit (14,57 mg/L), and Hutan Tri Dharma (12,90 mg/L), and stomata density from the highest to the lowest were at Bumi Perkemahan Sibolangit (59,85 stomata/mm2 ), Kawasan Industri Medan 1 (50,72 stomata/mm2 ), Jl HM Yamin (48,58 stomata/mm2 ), and Hutan Tri Dharma (46,86 stomata/mm2 ). Conclusion of the research are activities of motor vehicles and the lead content didnot show any relation to the chlorophyll content and stomata density of Mahoni at some location in Medan.
