dc.description.abstractThis study has been conducted at Lake Toba, Marlumba village during February 2016. Purposive sampling method was used to determine three stations of the research based on community activities at the lake. Tools were used for catching freshwater crayfishes “Bubu”. Numbers of freshwater crayfishes caught from all stations are 54 individuals consisted of 16 individuals from 1st station, 29 individuals from 2nd station and 9 individuals from 3rd station. The highest density was found at the second station with the number 0,33 ind/m2 . According to the result from all station, the growth pattern of freshwater crayfishes at 1st and 3rd station is allometric positive with growth coefficient for 1st station is 3,132 and 3rd station is 3,739. Meanwhile, the growth pattern of 2nd station is allometric negative with growth coefficient is equal to 2,680. Pearson correlation analysis indicated that the BOD5 value are strongly correlated with the density of freshwater crayfishes.en_US
