Analisa Kadar Besi dan Mangan pada Air Baku dan Air Reservoir Secara Spektrofotometri di Pdam Tirtanadi Hamparan Perak

Abstract

The water treatment plant in the Hamparan Perak by use Belawan river. The Belawan river water used as samples is raw water and then to processed of reservoir water in the water treatment plant Hamparan Perak. Analysis of iron (Fe) and manganese (Mn) were performed using an UV-Visible spectrophotometer. Analyzes were performed on february 11th 2016 and February 19th 2016. The analysis results on the February 11th 2016 acquired the iron (Fe) content of the raw water is 0,29 mg/l and for the water reservoir is 0,03 mg/l. The manganese (Mn) content of the raw water is 0,09 mg/l and for the water reservoir is 0,062 mg/l. The analysis results on the February 19th 2016 acquired the iron (Fe) content of the raw water is 0,29 mg/l and for the water reservoir is 0,02 mg/l. The manganese (Mn) content of the raw water is 0,08 mg/l and for the water reservoir is 0,002 mg/l. This indicates that the water treatment that has been done in PDAM Hamparan Perak according to standards.
