dc.description.abstractHas done research of comparative use of poly aluminium chloride (PAC) and alum to turbidity and Cu from raw water in PDAM tirtanadi Hamparan Perak. The study was conducted to determine differences in turbidity values and the content of Cu and to know better coagulant. The dose used was 19 ppm and 21 ppm when the jar test. After the jar test, turbidity measurements by using a turbidimeter and measuring Cu with spectrophotometer. he results of the study at 21 ppm alum coagulant derived turbidity and levels of Cu: 2.68 NTU; 0.03 mg / l. As for the poly aluminum chloride (PAC) 21 ppm obtained turbidity and levels of Cu: 0.57 NTU; 0.03 mg / l. On the use of poly aluminum chloride (PAC) is smaller turbidity values. It can be concluded poly aluminum chloride (PAC) is better in removing turbidity.en_US
