Jenis dan Perbandingan Tingkat Infeksi Cacing Parasit pada Feses Sapi di Rumah Potong Hewan (RPH) Siantar dengan Feses Sapi di Rumah Potong Hewan Medan

Abstract

Research about spesies and level comparison were examined of hookworm infection in cow feces between Slaughter house in Siantar and Medan is explained using Glass beads method. Twenty five samples of cow feces from 25 cows in three time recycling of each, the result shows that there were three kinds of hookworm for Slaughter house in Medan, Ascaris sp., Fasciola sp. and Paramphistomum sp. whereas fo Slaughter house in Siantar the result show that there were five kinds of hookworm, Bunostomum sp., Fasciola sp., Haemonchus sp., Paramphistomum sp. dan Trychostrongylus sp. There were 9 acute infection cows of Paramphistomum sp. 2 heavy infected cows of Fasciola sp. at Slaughter house in Siantar whereas the infection of hookworm at Slaughter house in Medan is still low. The prevalence of hookworm eggs at Slaughter house in Medan is Ascaris 8%, Fasciola 24% and Paramphistomum 36% whereas at Slaughter house in Siantar, the prevalence is Bunostomum 4%, Fasciola 64%, Haemonchus 12%, Paramphistomum 88% and Trychostrongylus 4%.
