dc.description.abstractExperiments have been performed on the determination of the iodine value of Flagship brand shortening production of PT SMART Tbk Belawan.Samples were taken randomlyon the 15th February 2013,19th February 2013,22th February 2013, and 01st March 2013.Iodine value of the samples were determined by Wij’s method .Iodine value of the samples were taken on the 15th February 2013,19th February 2013,22th February 2013, dan 01st March 2013 were : 49,46,49,31,49,34 and 49,38 respectically. When these iodine value of Flagship brand shortening were determined on the 15th February 2013,19th February 2013,22th February 2013, dan 01st March 2013 were compared with product specification of PORAM standart (Iodin Value = 48- 51),the iodine value of Flagship brand shortening production of PT.SMART Tbk Belawan fulfill with PORAM standart ( The Palm Oil Refiners Assocition of Malaysia)en_US
