dc.description.abstractHave performed experiments on the effect of heavy rubber crumb in the drying process of the value Plasticitas Retention Index (PRI), which aims to determine the amount of impairment rubber resistance to oxidation at high temperatures. The drying process is carried out at a temperature of 140O C with a time of 4 hours. Determination value of plasticity Retention Index based at the determination of plasticity the beginning and plasticity end. To respective - respective weight of rubber crumb 9 kg with value of Plastity Retention Index is 40%, for weight of rubber crumb 11 kg with value of plasticity Retention Index is 57.89%, for weight of rubber crumb 13 kg with value of plasticity Retention Index is 80%, and umtuk heavy rubber crumb 15 kg with a value of plasticity retention index was 92.30%. The results who obtained showed that the value of plasticity Retention Index who accordance with Standard Indonesian Rubber 10 is 57.89% which obtained with heavy rubber.en_US
