dc.description.abstractHas been done research about the influence of pressure on the temperature of oxygen and nitrogen in the air separation process by distillation. The air contains 20.95% oxygen, 78.08% nitrogen and 0.97% other elements. For the separate oxygen and nitrogen from the air to very low temperatures is required to separate it and turn it into a liquid, the temperature of oxygen reached -177.8 oC, and nitrogen reached -184.0 oC. This process is influenced by pressure contained in the distillation column with the optimum pressure of 5.02 kg/cm2. Where the greater pressure given the temperature will be higher and vice versa.en_US
