Penentuan Kadar Kotoran dan Kadar Air dari Minyak Sawit Mentah Crude Palm Oil (CPO) pada Tangki Penimbunan PT. Socfin Indonesia Kebun Tanah Gambus

Abstract

The one of the factor determinating a good quality of oil are the impurities and water contens of the oil. The impurities and water contents of crude palm oil in the stock tank, before its distribution first it is to be analyzed by a heating treat. From this study obtained that impurities and water contens in the stock tank at lower part is higher than the uppen part but it’s still in the standart of quality according to the manufacture and then it can be distributed. The quality of crude palm oil must have the impurities content less than 0,01% and the water content less than 0,1%.
