dc.description.abstractResearch on the composition of the ground cover on peat soil and mineral soil in oil palm PT. Supra Matra Abadi Labuhan Batu Selatan Regency, North Sumatera had been conducted in January 2016 until March 2016. The research location is determined by purposive sampling method to create a plot measuring 250m x 100m with a distance of the ditch into the are 20m. In the observation made subplots measuring 2 x 2m by 60 subplots at each location. The result obtained from the study showed the composition of the ground cover on peat soil consists of 20 species and 16 species of mineral soil. A tribe that has the most number of species are Poaceae tribes with 5 species, Asteraceae with 3 species and Melastomaceae with 3 species of undergrowth. INP highest value on peat soil is Andiantum sp. 35,89% and mineral soil Ageratum conyzoides by 32,14%.en_US
