Kepadatan dan Pola Pertumbuhan Ikan Jurung (Tor Spp.) di Perairan Sungai Bahorok Kabupaten Langkat Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Research Density and Growth Pattern Fish Jurung (Tor spp.). Bahorok River Waterway Langkat North Sumatra province has been done in December 2014. The purpose of this study was to determine the density and pattern of growth jurung fish (Tor spp.) And the relationship with water quality in the River Bahorok, Langkat North Sumatra. Samples were taken from three observation stations using “purposive sampling” method. Based on the results obtained using nets the highest value at station 1 (upstream) with a value of 0,015 ind / m2 Whereas using elektrofishing highest values obtained at station 3 (downstream) with a value of 41 ind / h. Allometric growth pattern (+) obtained at station 1 with a value of 3,03, allometric (-) at stations 2 and 3 with a value of 2,93 and 2,95. The results of correlation analysis showed that the temperature and dissolved oxygen is strongly influencing the presence jurung fish (Tor spp.) in Bahorok River Langkat North Sumatra.
