Komposisi dan Struktur Sapling di Kawasan Deleng Macik Taman Hutan Raya Bukit Barisan Kabupaten Karo Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Research entitled Composition and Structure of Sapling at Deleng Macik Region Taman Hutan Raya Bukit Barisan District of Karo North Sumatera has been conducted from May to November 2016. The research sites were determined Purposive Sampling by placing 100 plots of 5 x 5 m with zigzag placement within each plots. Study found 79 species of sapling which belonged to 37 families and 62 genera with total of 419 individu in which 31 of them were unique to inhabit to only one plot. The highest Importance Value Index (IVI) were 27,11 % from Urophyllum macranthum, while highest species found were member of Lauraceae. Diversity Index (H') found in this study was 3,777. Equitability Index (E) and Jackknife Species Richness Index (S) were 0,864 and 109,69 respectively.
