dc.description.abstractHave analyzed the oil content of fat and levels of TSS (Total Suspended Solid) in the waste of palm oil mills in Langkat. Analysis of the oil content of fat are separated by extraction by using the tool soklet through two stages of extraction and distillation, the levels of TSS (Total Suspended Solid) separated by filtration, followed by heating and weighing. Hasi study showed levels of oil and grease 8- 80 mg / L, whereas the levels of TSS (Total Suspended Solid) of 2-6 mg / L. Levels of TSS (Total Suspended Solid) meets the standards that have been ditetapkanKep-51 / MENLH / 10/1995, namely 250 mg / L, levels of fatty oil samples only partially meet the standards set Kep-51 / MENLH / 10/1995, namely 25mg/L.en_US
