Penentuan Deoteration Of Bleachability Index (Dobi) pada Crude Palm Oil (CPO) dan Crude Coconut Oil (CNO) secara Spektrofotometri di PT. Palmcoco Laboratories

Abstract

The result for the experiment disposal of DOBI from the sample CPO and CNO with the method of Spechtrophotometri in P.T.Palmcoco Laboratories, as whole DOBI is a parameterof oil quality that the manner of first process until to result finish product in high quality before to rejecting inn the marketing. Very high the value of DOBI therefore is very good disposal of oil quality. A high value DOBI is essential to help the prrocessing conditions that be use for refinning. As whole from the sample that be analysis can be result data of value DOBI from the sample CPO in Batam area is 2,66, Dumai area is 2,66 and Belawan area is 2,67. Exactly from the sample CNO in Batam area is 1,61, Dumai area is 1,52 and Belawan area is 1,54. Basid for the inspection can be result that the sample from three areas not yet complete of good standart quality from DOBI to accorrding with SNI (Standart National Indonesia) and PORIM (Palm Oil Risert Institute of Malaysia). The point can be the reason by low factor of DOBI
